Snatch 2-2-2-2-2-2 reps

Setup

  • Stand and place bar in hip; grab bar as wide as is comfortable
  • Bar positioned over toes on floor
  • Back neutral
  • Hips same height as knees, thighs almost parallel to floor
  • Feet flat
  • Shoulders slightly in front of the bar
  • Knee over toe
  • Longer limb people will have to toe out more to keep the bar from hitting their knees

First Pull
  • Keep hips low; push knees back until knees are almost strait (top of first pull)
  • Maintain back angle, no change yet
  • Rock toward heels while keeping you shoulders over the bar
  • Knees stay wide to move around the bar, bar never moves around your kneesBy: Michael Bledsoe
